About
Our Teachers
Our teachers provide experiences that stimulate children’s thinking by asking guiding questions and carefully documenting the children’s work. Bigelow offers an excellent child/teacher ratio that meets and often exceeds the requirements of the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care (EEC).

About
Our Space
Bigelow’s state of the art facility, conveniently located between Harvard, Porter and Union Squares, is designed with children in mind: Awash with natural light, it features five classrooms, including an infant room, as well as an indoor gross motor space, a library, and a dedicated outdoor play space.

Our Happy Parents
“We sent our younger kiddo to Bigelow after moving to the neighborhood and have had a wonderful experience. She’s in the preschool classroom, and her teachers are incredibly creative and engaged. Most of all, we have really appreciated the community of other families, many of whom have become friends.”

“If you are looking for the best daycare for your kiddo in Somerville/Cambridge, then Bigelow is it. The teachers are fantastic, my child loves his classroom and gets so excited for all the adventures, new things to learn, and fun activities. He has grown, has great friends and has learned so much and I credit that to Bigelow.”
– Evan S.
“Our daughter loves Bigelow. We were drawn to the beautiful facilities and cooperative style, and have been blown away by the quality of care and attention our daughter receives. This is her first daycare experience, and we couldn’t be happier. Fully recommend!”
